I was thinking that we should have a new school mascot. The Wildcat is getting kind of old. I want people to care about the school mascot. So what about a new mascot? Since we play sports we should have a school mascot that people care about. Kids should be enthusiastic about their mascot.
I mean it really won't be hard because all we should do is vote (one class at a time) who's the mascot. It could be a wolf, a bobcat or a tiger (or any kind of symbol that's inspiring, you could write them in as a candidate). Anyway, I know most people might not agree of it, but why not see! We want to make our school awesome!
If you want to keep the wildcat, write about why you want to keep it. If you want a new school mascot, also tell me why. I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion on my blog about the school mascot in your comments.

I kinda do want a new mascot because at almost all of my schools the mascot has been the same:a lion,cub or something around that sort. So i would really be fine with a new mascot.

I dont agree, I think we should keep the maskot because we had it for awhile but its kinda history to the school.

Getting a new school mascot is NOT a good idea! What about the name of the school? We couldn't be the Countryside Wolves that would sound weird. We would have to change the name of the school. Also, we have been the Countryside Wildcats for a long time. Plus, we can't take other schools in 220 mascots. Think about it you might change your mind.

ReplyDeleteSure we have had the wildcat for many years but that is part of contryside now, I mean sure we could make it a little newer but we should just touch up the way it looks, not the name.
I think you should ask Mrs. Newhouse about her opinion.
But if you feel like asking more students you should get there ideas on the subject.

i don't think we should change our mascot because we've had the wildcat for years and we can't just change it. But we should have someone take the job as dressing up as the mascot and cheering for our teams during the games, I'll take the job!

I dont think they should change the mascot because it has been with Countryside since i Dont know since it was made and I think that the wildcat is a awesome animal for our school. They should not change our school mascot.

I think we should change our mascott every 3 years and then the kids can vote. Even if it is a generation it would be a generation still if we change it.

I disagree with you the team is calle wildcats not other names and country side was here with the mascot as a wildcat before there was this kind of school there was another country side school but it was remodled and it had wildcat as a mascot. I disagree with you john.

i think are mascott is fine. i was wondering what you were thinking to change it to. i think that we should keep it the same though. i want to know how many people want to change it and how many people want to keep it. if more want to change it what would we change it to.

I don't mind if we change the school mascot but I don't think we should because it's like changing the school. Me and my brother have both been a wildcat.If we do have to change though I would pick a tiger.
