Will The Blackhawks win a Stanley Cup?

Right now, the Chicago Blackhawks are seventh place in a league of thirty different hockey teams. To make it into the Stanley Cup finals, you need to be in the top eight teams. Maintaining first place are the San Jose Sharks. They’ve been first place for a very long time. Sadly, the Blackhawks slipped from fourth best, to now seventh best. One of my biggest questions is, can they work their way back down. Our arch enemies, the Detroit Red Wings, are second best in the league. Points wise, we are pretty close. We have eighty three as the top two teams, one of them are greatest enemy, each have ninety three points. In our division, we are second, the Red Wings are the best in our division. The Blackhawks are trying very hard and playing well. We have to remember, out of thirty teams, seventh is not bad at all. How do you think the Blackhawks are playing? If you want, in comments, put how you think the Blackhawks are playing. I’m interested to hear (or read) what everybody else thinks about are teams. Obviously, the scores and standing change fast so I’ll try and keep you posted. Also, look at the key on the bottom of the page to see how points are taken.

A win = 1 point
A Lose = 0 points
In a tie
A win = 2 points

i think the blackhawks are really good but not as good to make it into the stanly cup, besides the redwings are definitly the winner for this year.

CJ I agree with you. Even though I love the penguins I am also worried about the hawks. I saw the stats and know they will make the playoffs I dont have much hope of a stanly cup victorey much less 4th place. I know you are worried also but as long as khabibulin improves or they put Hua in net they will improve from khabis injurey and will also hopefully get less penulties and more power plays. That was a awesome artical about hockey. I think that the blackhawk will win the Stanly Cup. Even though there in seventh place they could to first place pritty soon. I'v even been to a few wolves games.

C.J. I kinda agree with you and the Redwings are going to make it in to the playoffs but are definitly not a Stanley Cup contender. I predict lose in first round but Toews and Kane both have two goals each.

I think they might but I am a pungins fan. I don't want the blackhawks to win but i think they are becasue i watched there game last night and they were really good. But if the pungins get knocked out I would want the blackhawks to win.

Well now that I have seen the first round win by the Blackhawks I am going to change my prediction for a loss in the next round and a lost to Calgary or Cincinatti or whoever they were. The Blackhawks killed them and it was a lucky win. I wrote the comment above.

I love the blackhawks and watching them. Their beating the flames in the playoffs. I don't think they will win the cup, but there going on.
